Physical Therapist, Massage Therapist
Dean graduated from Northwestern University in 1990 with a bachelor's degree in biology/ biochemistry. He then earned a master's degree in physical therapy (PT) from the University of Michigan in and began practicing. In 1999, Dean completed a certification in massage therapy and then gained advanced training in neuromuscular massage therapy in 2000. He has taken numerous continuing education courses in physical therapy, including a spinal manipulation program. Dean's focus was treating complex spinal disorders, TMJ disorders and soft-tissue injuries, of which have all become specialties offered in his clinics today. Dean currently spends his time running Cherry Creek Wellness Center's many locations.
In 1999, Dean started Cherry Creek Wellness Center (CCWC) with the goal of providing the highest-quality specialty Physical Therapy services. Over the last 17 years, he has expanded the practice to five locations with a staff of experienced Denver area physical therapists, massage therapists, Pilates instructors, and personal trainers. He continues to look for innovative ways to provide high-quality, one-on-one care to CCWC patients.
In addition to his work, Dean loves spending time with his three children, as well as golfing, skiing, hiking and running.
Jody maintains billing accounts and ensures that patients are educated in their insurance coverage and care. A Midwest native and longtime active living advocate, Jody completed her Business degree at the University of Colorado. She joined Cherry Creek Wellness Center after managing a local non-profit health center and traveling abroad. She brings nearly ten years of business leadership experience to the role and has specialized in Clinical Administrative Management as well as Public Outreach and Community Engagement.
Jody built her career in non-profit advocacy and continues to utilize her League of American Bicyclists Instructor certification to create and deliver courses empowering urban youth and adults to replace car trips with bicycle trips. Married to a local chef, she can often be found bicycling across the city to enjoy local menu items, playing outside with their new daughter and energetic Boxer, or engaging in campaigns for safer city streets for bicyclists and pedestrians.
Amanda joined CCWC in early 2016, and is responsible for all clinics marketing efforts and support. With a strong background in marketing, Amanda has been responsible for creating and implementing initiatives with a number of different organizations: nonprofits, collegian athletic departments and a multinational sports nutrition corporation. She believes in meeting wellness needs by living a healthy and balanced life incorporating fitness and nutrition daily. Amanda has always had a passion for educating, empowering, and supporting others in transforming their health.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Marketing from Colorado State University and is an avid baseball fan. Outside of work can she most likely be found cooking, baking, traveling with her husband, or at Coors Field. Go Rockies!
