Sara earned her Bachelors degree in Biology with a minor in kinesiology in 2007 from Regis University. In 2011, she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Regis University’s Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions in Denver. Since graduating, Sara has worked primarily in an orthopedic outpatient setting treating all types of musculoskeletal injuries in adults.
Sara continues to have a love of learning. She has taken multiple continuing education classes with a focus on manual techniques and is certified in dry needling. Her goal with physical therapy treatment is to provide quality personalized care with a hands on approach in order to get patients back to enjoying what they like to do.
Growing up, Sara moved every four or five years before landing in Colorado in 2003. She has since planted roots and enjoys taking advantage of Colorado's outdoor activities, the ever growing food scene in Denver, and spending time with her husband and their two english bulldogs.
Michael was born in Toledo, Ohio and raised in Pensacola, Florida along with his older sister, Ashley, and younger brother, Jacob. He decided to pursue a degree in Kinesiology from Florida State University after becoming intrigued with physical wellness in high school. After graduating from college and receiving certification through the American College of Sports Medicine, Michael worked as a Personal Trainer at various locations in Houston before moving to Denver in July 2015 where he found work at a chiropractic office performing corrective exercise. He was brought on as Exercise Specialist at Lutheran Spine Center in late May of 2016, and actively pursues pertinent certifications/continuing education to better help patients of SCL Health.
Michael’s passion for helping people through health and wellness stems from his own personal journey to better-quality fitness. Losing a substantial amount of weight helped him gain a more positive outlook on life in general, and was the catalyst for Michael’s lifelong thirst of helping others achieve this improved physical (and, in turn, mental) wellness. Outside of work, Michael enjoys music/concerts, movies, hiking, and basking in the knowledge that the Cleveland Cavaliers are current world champions.
