Leah Kron

Physical Therapist

Dr. Leah Kron graduated in 2015 as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Prior to physical therapy school, she obtained her Bachelors of Science in Integrative Physiology from the University of Iowa, where she also worked as a research aide in the gait analysis lab.

 

Dr. Kron is originally from Des Moines, Iowa, but spent a year moving around the country as a traveling physical therapist prior to landing in Miami Beach. She recently moved from Miami Beach to Denver and is excited to be a part of the Cherry Creek Wellness Center team. Leah has been focusing her experience on orthopedic, vestibular, pediatric, and geriatric rehabilitation.

 

Although she misses the beach, Leah has enjoyed exploring the mountains. She spends her weekends cheering for her favorite teams, traveling and hiking with her boyfriend and black lab.

Heidi Aarsby, PT, DPT

Director of Physical Therapy

Pelvic Floor Specialist, Certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling

Dr. Heidi Aarsby-Logsdon began her journey with Cherry Creek Wellness Center upon moving to Denver in 2012. She has grown with the company and is now the Director of Physical Therapy within their greater integrated care model, New Health Services. She is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and graduated from Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2009. Previously she is a graduate from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion.


Heidi has found a passion in treating patients with pelvic health dysfunction and a variety of orthopedic injuries. She enjoys treating across all ages and within our community treats many families. She uses her education in trigger point dry needling, Functional Movement Screen, pelvic health and manual therapy techniques for individualized treatment for her patients.


Outside of work, Heidi is a busy mom of 3 girls with a passion for endurance sports. She has a history of distance running from sprints to marathons as well as short to long distance triathlons. She enjoys the Rocky Mountains whether it be hiking or skiing. She continues to share her love of fitness and health with her family and patients and strives to return patients to the level of activity they desire.

Amy Rolsky, PT, DPT

Clinic Manager, Physical Therapist

Pelvic Floor Specialist, Certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling

Dr. Amy Rolsky, PT, DPT graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009 and earned her Bachelors in Science in Kinesiology from University of Maryland in 2006. Hailing from Pittsburgh, Amy joined the CCWC team in 2012 and is the Clinic Manager of the NE office.


Amy specializes in pelvic health physical therapy and is passionate about prenatal and postnatal care. She has taken advanced coursework in myofascial and visceral mobilization as well as nutrition as it relates to pain and healing. She is currently undergoing Pilates teacher training. Amy is certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling through Kineticore and has been trained in Kinesiotaping, Graston Techniques and cupping.


As a mother of three, Amy stays very busy outside of the clinic. She and her husband moved to Denver in 2012 and share a love for travel, outdoors, and good food.

Sophia Floyd, OTR/L

Hand Therapist

Sophia Floyd OTR/L is a graduate of Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. She has specialized in hand/upper extremity therapy for 28 years and received her Certification in Hand Therapy in 1993. She has done extensive splinting and treatment of traumatic injuries including tendon lacerations and transfers, wounds and skin grafts, amputations and replantation, fractures and pain syndromes as well as conservative treatment of tendonitis, arthritis, and nerve compressions.


Sophia has also enjoyed developing a field work program and supervising occupational therapy students. She is a member of the NBCOT, American Society of Hand Therapists, Rocky Mountain Hand Surgery Society, and associate member of American Association of Hand Surgeons.


Outside of work, Sophia enjoys riding her Morgan horse, doing nature and landscape photography, hiking, gardening, traveling with her three children, and skiing. She has volunteered in the schools as a volunteer coordinator, in the Nature Conservancy, and various animal shelters.

Amanda Vojak, PT, DPT, LSVT BIG

Physical Therapist

Vestibular and Concussion Specialist

Dr. Amanda Vojak, PT, DPT graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, IL in 2016 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2012.


Amanda enjoys working with the vestibular and neurological population to improve function and increase independence. She holds multiple certifications through the American Institute of Balance for treating those with dizziness, vertigo, and imbalance. She has several years experience treating people following a concussion or who may have been diagnosed with post-concussion syndrome. She has also taken courses for LSVT BIG for treating Parkinson's Disease.


Amanda is certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling through Kineticore, which she has found to be helpful for patients to recover faster and achieve their goals. She views the body as a whole to determine contributing factors to pain and dysfunction when designing treatment programs to improve outcomes and reduce re-injury.


Originally from the Chicagoland area, Amanda enjoys watching Chicago sports, as well as hiking and camping. She moved to Colorado in 2016 and now lives with her husband and two furbabies.

John Tramontana, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Sports Physical Therapy & CSCS

Dr. John Tramontana, PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS, graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University in 2009. He is new to Colorado and brings 10+ years of sports orthopedic experience from New Jersey. He has treated recreational, high school, college, and professional athletes with goals of achieving new levels of performance. John conveys his competitive mindset on the treatment floor to get his athletes better quicker.


John is a board-certified sport specialist and is knowledgeable in movement patterns required by sport and specific positions. He is a certified strength and conditioning coach through the NSCA and holds other specialized certifications in blood flow restriction training (BFR) and Functional Range Conditioning as a mobility specialist (FRCms). John has volunteered at US Ironman Championships and treated athletes at the Asbury, NJ Cross-fit Games.


His personal achievements include completing several triathlons and half marathons. When he is outside of the clinic you can find John outside with his wife Jenna and two doodles, Bella and Piper.

Laura Sheets

Administrative Supervisor

Laura, our Administrative Supervisor, started with Cherry Creek Wellness Center back in 2016. She graduated from University of Northern Colorado in 2008 with a degree in Psychology. She began her career out of college in Medicaid case management but took a sabbatical for a couple years to pursue her passion of driving exotic cars! She was drawn to change careers again and work with Cherry Creek Wellness Center to get back to the health industry & helping others live their best lives!


Laura works with our front office champions to ensure the patient experience is top notch. She provides training and oversight of the front operations, while also verifying insurance benefits, obtaining authorizations, and assisting patients as needed.


Outside of work, Laura is an avid outdoorswoman and enjoys camping, hiking, 4-wheeling, and wildlife photography. She especially loves photographing moose! She also has an extensive background in the automotive industry, and she likes to combine her passions for photography and cars whenever possible! She shares her love for nature, photography, and cars with her spouse Don & two Chihuahuas Daisy & Floyd.

Tessa Vogel

Front Office Champion

Tessa is originally from the vacationland state, Maine! Having moved to Colorado in September of 2020, she moved with hopes of starting a new journey in a different part of the country.


She was warmly welcomed into the CCWC family shortly after her move across the country. She is one of the first faces you will see when arriving to CCWC and is happy to greet you at the front desk. Tessa is a certified personal trainer with a passion for fitness and overall health and well-being.


Tessa loves dogs, hiking, and the ocean. Since moving to Denver, Tessa has really enjoyed finding new restaurants to try, and her favorite is Bar Dough. She hopes to see you at CCWC very soon!

Cristen Rask

Front Office Champion

Cristen Rask has been a Front Office Champion at Cherry Creek Wellness Center since January 2021. Since graduating with a BA in Psychology at the University of Southern California in 2013, Cristen has experience in a variety of customer service and front desk roles. Cristen loves working with and helping people and has really enjoyed learning more about physical therapy.


Cristen is originally from San Diego, CA, but has been living in Colorado for the last six years. She loves the outdoors and exploring different parts of this beautiful state. Some of her favorite things to do are hiking and camping with her husband and adorable dog Charlie in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. Cristen also traveled extensively prior to moving to Colorado and can't wait to get back to that when possible!

Shannon Marshall, MPT, DPT

Clinic Manager, Physical Therapist

Certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling & Myofascial Cupping

Dr. Shannon Marshall is a physical therapist and clinic manager of the Wheat Ridge location. She earned her Masters of Physical Therapy degree from Elon University in North Carolina and has over 20 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics. In 2011, she graduated with honors from St. Augustine University of Health Sciences with her Doctoral degree and a specialty in manual physical therapy. Shannon is originally from Iowa and competed collegiately in cross-country and track while getting her bachelor's degree from Simpson College. This sparked an interest in health, performance, and healing, which lead her to this amazing profession.


She has certifications in trigger point dry needling, myofascial cupping, lifestyle medicine and Sole Support custom orthotics, with additional continuing education in areas such as running gait analysis, bike fitting, woman's health, scoliosis, geriatric strength training, and visceral mobilization. She has extensive experience with both chronic and acute extremity and spine injuries and disease processes, with special interest in working with those with multiple areas of concern, connecting the dots to improve quality of life and enjoyment of daily activities. She enjoys one-on-one treatment sessions at Cherry Creek Wellness Center, which enable her to get to know her patients, their goals, and the obstacles they face, while working together with a team of passionate and diligent therapists to achieve the best possible outcomes.


Away from work, she appreciates family time with her husband and two young sons, a pandemic puppy, and all things active and outdoors.

Shannon Merriman, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Pelvic Floor Specialist, Certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling

Dr. Shannon Merriman is an experienced physical therapist specializing in pelvic floor physical therapy. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University, with a degree in Kinesiology. From there she moved to Colorado, where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Regis University. Falling in love with all that Colorado has to offer, she and her husband decided Colorado was the perfect place to call home.


Shannon gained a love for pelvic floor physical therapy while in graduate school. Symptoms related to pelvic floor dysfunction resonated with her, as she herself had experienced similar limitations. Shannon enjoys treating patients with all aspects of men and women’s pelvic health including incontinence, painful intercourse, prenatal, postpartum, and return to sport. Shannon utilizes functional movement, manual therapy, and appropriate exercise prescription for an evidence-based, individualized treatment approach.


As an ultrarunner and a mom, Shannon knows firsthand the importance and impact physical therapy can have. Her passion is helping patients return to what they love to do.
Outside of work, Shannon loves to have adventures with her husband, son, daughter, and two Australian Shepherds

Molly Kopczynski, PT, DPT

Stephanie Uszacki, MS, ATC

Certified Athletic Trainer

APPI Pilates Instructor Certified

Stephanie Uszacki is an Athletic Trainer who works with individuals in Wheat Ridge, in addition to their physical therapy and independently to develop and progress exercise programs. She has been a Certified Athletic Trainer since earning her Bachelor’s degree at Illinois State University in 1989. Stephanie went on to complete her Master’s Degree in Exercise Science from Colorado State University. She has since continued her education with certifications in Fallproof Balance, Functional Movement Screening, APPI Mat Pilates Instructor, and PWR Parkinson’s Instructor.


Stephanie developed a Parkinson’s specific exercise class and a Balance class that she teaches at the Wheat Ridge Active Adult Center. Keeping people doing the activities that they love is what motivates Stephanie while working with her clients. From young athletes to older individuals and anyone in between- everyone can benefit from exercise!


Stephanie loves to hike, bike, read and play with her husband and sons. Spending time outdoors, especially in the mountains, is both physical and mental therapy! She is inspired by people who continue to play throughout all phases of life.

Talia Strahler, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Orthopedic Certified Specialist, Certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling

Dr. Talia Strahler obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from University of Colorado at Anschutz Medical Campus. After finishing up her degree, Dr. Strahler pursued her specialist certification in orthopedics (OCS) in Austin, Texas. Dr. Strahler is also certified in dry needling, ASYTM soft tissue techniques, and blood flow restriction training.


Dr. Strahler strives to provide highly individualized care and values getting her patients better as quickly and efficiently as possible. Dr. Strahler believes that no patient should feel their daily life is controlled by pain. Dr. Strahler helps her patients gain confidence back with movement and activities of daily living, that once caused pain and getting patients back to the activities they enjoy most.


In her spare time Dr. Strahler loves to be outside enjoying Colorado sunshine. Dr. Strahler is a Colorado native after all. Dr. Strahler loves to hike, paddleboard, and spend time with her friends and family.
